Creating Yourself
Living in truth can be a terrifying task. From the day we were born, there have been expectations and norms pushed upon us that can force us to stay hidden. Whether you hold a giant truth, like hiding an integral part of your identity, or something small, like falling to peer pressure, these forced narratives will never serve us.
George Bernard Shaw wrote, “Life isn’t about finding yourself, it is about creating yourself”. These words are foundational to Align & Inspire’s programming. Under our view of creation, we can take action and choose who we want to be. Instead of going with the motions and viewing life as something that just happens to us, we can find our truth and comfort in labeling our role and responsibilities in it.
Creating yourself doesn’t mean fabricating a reality that holds deception. It doesn’t mean molding yourself into something you're not. Creating yourself means identifying your strengths, using your weaknesses, being honest about what you want and honoring your authentic self. Take action in your alignment and create the life you are worthy of living.
